Is Your iPhone Green?

Have you ever wondered how green your iPhone is? This infographic gives you a pretty good idea.

So the moral of this infographic is that the iPhone is not great for the environment. Workers are paid very little to assemble them and are often exposed to hazardous chemicals. Very few are recycled, despite the presence of Apple’s recycling program and of companies like us that recycle for free.

I kind of knew this already– Apple is consistently ranked low for environmental issues. Let’s hope that Apple steps up to the plate and makes an effort to go green.
