Whatever Happened to the Hole in the Ozone Layer?

I’ve noticed that the ozone layer is back in discussion around the web. A new article was just published updating the world on the once environmental crisis of the ozone layer. My assumption is that no news is good news, but this may not be the case.

Ouramazingplanet.com reports that the ozone layer over the south pole has stabilized. As a matter of fact, the thickness of the ozone layer has been blocking cancer causing radiation at record levels over the past decades.

Unfortunately, the ozone layer over the north pole is still deteriorating, and it will continue to deteriorate over the next 15 years.
