Rancho Cucamonga

The cellular phones that we bought five years ago can already be considered as obsolete with the emergence of newer and more sophisticated models. But what do we do with our old units? A 2009 study show that only very few or about 10 percent of the 325 million Americans bother to bring their old gadgets and electronics to a recycling facility. What happens to the rest then? Many of our electronic wastes remain stored in the garage, attics and basements of our homes and offices. Little do we realize that prolonged storage exposes us, our families, and our co-workers to its hazardous contents. According to health experts, constant exposure to lead, mercury and cadmium that are found in our old computers can damage our vital body organs.

But we do not have to worry of all these health risks if we know what to do and where to go for help. In Rancho Cucamonga, Kimco-Vineyards Market Place is putting up an area where we can turnover our old electronics for disposal. Let us check out their collection event and bring our disposable IT equipment.
