There’s a new way to look at recycling e-wastes: the preservation of natural resources. Most electronics contain important substances like copper, mercury and cadmium. These elements are mined, and are limited in terms of supplies. When we recycle electronics, it means that we don’t need to mine new sources of such materials. Mining also has a negative impact on the environment. So if we prevent more mining activities because we recycled our old electronics, then that’s ideal.

All Green Electronics Recycling can help electronics owners with their recycling problem. One may schedule an e-waste pickup so that the company can take old and obsolete electronics off your hands and put them to better use. These electronics can be taken apart so that the important and still reusable parts can be properly removed and preserved. There is yet another reason added as to why we should recycle our stuff, especially electronics, which contain toxins that are bad for the environment and the health.

Members of the community and businesses are encouraged to clean out their garage or attic and donate their old electronics to a good cause. Bring all of your old electronics to the event, including, but not limited to: computers, monitors, televisions, printers, mobile phones, laptops, DVD players, VCRs, microwaves, calculators, iPods, cables and wires, telephones, fax machines, scanners, computer parts, and more. All Green Electronics Recycling promises to recycle everything it accepts in North America and to never send electronics to a landfill or overseas for processing. Certified Data Destruction is available for a small fee at all of our events.
