Free Electronics Recycling Collection Event Saturday, October 12, 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM Northpark Office Parking Lot 10 Meadow Valley Irvine, CA 92602

Recycling e-wastes is not just about being good to the environment—although it mainly is. Recycling may also be about giving some communities a better future. There are some orphanages or really poor communities that don’t have access to the internet or computers. Electronic wastes from an affluent city like Irvine can already mean treasures for some poor communities or some ill-funded orphanages.

Electronics recycling collections, such as the Irvine – Northpark Maintenance Association Electronics Recycling Fundraiser, is very important. This is a venue where people—Irvine residents—drop off their old and obsolete electronics. The organizers will need to segregate the electronics: those that can still be used and those that have to be incinerated and thrown away. A lot of these electronics are still functional since there are those that were disposed of only because a new model had been released. These gadgets can be donated to organizations and communities that really need them. This is recycling at its best.

Members of the community and businesses are encouraged to clean out their garage or attic and donate their old electronics to a good cause. Bring all of your old electronics to the event, including, but not limited to: computers, monitors, televisions, printers, mobile phones, laptops, DVD players, VCRs, microwaves, calculators, iPods, cables and wires, telephones, fax machines, scanners, computer parts, and more. All Green Electronics Recycling promises to recycle everything it accepts in North America and to never send electronics to a landfill or overseas for processing. Certified Data Destruction is available for a small fee at all of our events.
