Fullerton, a city in California, used to be just a sleepy town. But in the 1800s, agriculture in the area boomed. In the last third of the century to the first part of the 20th century, the city saw more progress as petroleum became the center of its economy. But currently, the city is better known for being an Education City. It is known as such because it has become a home for some of the bigger institutions in the country: University of California, Fullteron and Fullerton College, among others. It is also home to the Fullerton High School.

The high school does electronics recycling event every now and then. The school’s students hope to gather as many electronic wastes—cellphones, laptops, fax machines, etc—as they can in order to effect the change needed to combat climate change. The school usually ties up with All Green Electronics Recycling, which is the most trusted name in the game.

Members of the community and businesses are encouraged to clean out their garage or attic and donate their old electronics to a good cause. Bring all of your old electronics to the event, including, but not limited to: computers, monitors, televisions, printers, mobile phones, laptops, DVD players, VCRs, microwaves, calculators, iPods, cables and wires, telephones, fax machines, scanners, computer parts, and more. All Green Electronics Recycling promises to recycle everything it accepts in North America and to never send electronics to a landfill or overseas for processing.
