Irvine E-waste (Men’s Lacrosse)

Members of the Irvine Men’s Lacrosse Team are taking a short break from their contact team sport to organize an activity that is for a good cause. This time, team members will be collecting neighborhood E-wastes to make sure that these are sent to a recycling facility for disposal. Men, who value sports, also value the importance of having open spaces that are clean and ready for occupancy, anytime.

Irvine city has several community and neighborhood parks that can be used for various activities.  Each of the community parks is equipped with facilities and recreational amenities to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of city residents. The Northwood Community Park, for example, also includes the Northwood Gratitude and Honor Memorial, the first memorial that was built in the US even before the war ended.

The good people of the Irvine Men’s Lacrosse Team wanted to make sure that city parks and recreational areas continue to operate for its people. The group is taking upon itself the responsibility of collection our E-waste. They are calling on city residents to support their cause, visit their collection event.

Bring all of your old electronics, including:

E-Waste EventThe UC Irvine Men’s Lacrosse Team has teamed up with All Green Electronics Recycling to host this electronics recycling collection event. Both members of the community and businesses can take this opportunity to clean out their garage or store room and donate their unused electronics to a good cause.

The event is designed to give residents and businesses the opportunity to properly dispose of electronic waste, which includes computers, laptops, monitors, keyboards, copiers, VCRs, fax machines, cell phones, printers, scanners, hard drives, stereo equipment, cables and cords, shredders, microwaves, and more. All Green Electronics Recycling recycles everything it accepts and nothing ever goes into a landfill. More importantly, materials are NEVER sent to be processed in developing nations–everything is done right here in North America!

Certified Data Destruction is available for a small fee at all of our events.
