The City of Dixon takes pride in the achievements of its about 18,351 residents. Brothers Matt and Mark Cooley, who owns Cool Patch Pumpkins, are currently the Guinness World Record holder of the “largest maze, temporary corn/crop maze” title. Their maze measured 40.489 acres when they first won the title in 2010. They again won the title in 2012 and 2014 by growing their crop maze to 53-acres and 60 acres respectively.

City folks who value our achievements would do anything and everything to protect our source of pride. We are always ready to support initiatives aimed at protecting and preserving our community. We’re putting up an electronics collection event to encourage city folks to donate our E-wastes to ensure its proper disposal. E-wastes left on the streets and on garbage bins can cause risks on human health and the environment. It can also make our city dirty; worst cause contamination on our water supply.

Do not hesitate to come to our collection event and bring your e-wastes.
