The collection bin,
sponsored by All Green Electronics Recycling, is located in the lobby of the Mission Viejo
Library, located at 100 Civic Center in the city of Mission Viejo.

The City of Mission Viejo has been a long time supporter of recycling efforts. Most recently, the Mission Viejo City Council recognized two outstanding Marines for their dedication for making a “green” difference in Mission Viejo.

All Green Electronic Recycling is a full service electronics recycler and collector specializing in providing pickup services as well as hundreds of convenient drop-off locations. All Green Electronics Recycling has collected over one million pounds of electronics and processes up to 100 million pounds of electronic waste (e-waste) per year.

Look for the next drop-off event at the Mission Viejo Library in September 2012.

For more information on what to recycle or for convenient drop-off locations, go to http://www.allgreenrecycling.com .

E-Waste Dumping Ban Passes in Colorado Legislature

news

Colorado will soon be one of the U.S. states to ban e-waste dumping in the state’s landfills—we hope! It will now go to Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper for approval.

If Hickenlooper signs the bill, Colorado will join 17 other states that have similar laws. If and when the measure does become law, it is estimated to create up to 2,500 new jobs in Colorado.

Similar legislation has failed in previous years because it placed the recycling burden on manufacturers. The current proposal mandates that state agencies arrange for e-waste recycling with certified recyclers.

The law will go into effect on July 1, 2013 if the bill gains final approval.

Way to go Colorado! Let’s hope this bill passes.

For more information click here.

All Green Featured in OC Metro

news

Press

We’re excited to announce that All Green CEO Arman Sadeghi was recently featured in the CEO Centerfold section of the OC Metro. In April 2011, the first part of the law went into effect. This part requires manufacturers to take back electronics free of charge, regardless of brand.

The second part of the act takes electronics recycling one step further, by prohibiting waste haulers from collecting electronic waste (unless it is designated for reuse/recycling).
