Inventory Control Supervisor
Job Purpose
Manage the flow of inventory at ReUseTek, from receiving to processing to staging.
Overview
Verifies accuracy of incoming inventory lots, determines the resale potential of inventory at point of receiving and rejecting material with no resale potential, sorts equipment by type, then registers (audits) into inventory database, brings material to technicians for testing/refurbishing, oversees all sales orders being shipped or sold, uses inventory database to prepare Bill of Lading, brings completed sales lot to the staging area for shipment.

General Duties
Order Processing
Ensure the sales invoice corresponds with current inventory quantities and market pricesPull inventory from current stock and visually inspect for quality controlUpdate inventory database and prepare Bill of Lading Receiving
Determine reuse potential of materials to pass into ReUseTek at the staging gateEnter lots into inventory control databaseSorting
After receiving, sort material into categories (Laptops, PC, LCD, Televisions, Cell Phones, Network Equipment, etc.)Communication
Constant communication with Sales Department to fulfill and build orders to client requests.Regular communication with Refurbishing Department to respond to technicians’ needs and schedules. Maintain Order/Safety
Keep an organized environment free of potential hazards.Ensure products in ReUseTek area are properly protected on pallets with enough shrink wrap to stabilize.Keep aisles and forklift paths clear at all times.Maintain compliance with all Cal-OSHA requirements. Additional weekly/monthly activities:
Develop and provide reports from company’s inventory control database Enforce safety violation and prevent accidentsThe inventory control supervisor has the authority and responsibility to warn any ReUseTek employee of any safety violation both verbally and in writing, when necessary.Maintain a log of any on-the-job accidents and/or injuries
Required Qualifications
High school diplomaForklift certificationExperience with tools, both power and hand toolsExperience with Excel and MySQL database
Special Skills
Intricate knowledge of computer hardware, software and terminologyInternal componentsIdentification of reuse potential materialsExcellent knowledge of current resale and scrap markets demand and pricingProficiency in Spanish is desirable
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. in a physically stressful, fast-paced environment.
